Recognition and support for Maya’s campaign from three community advocates
Since the beginning, my campaign has been about bringing a future-focused vision to support the communities of South King County. Through multiple candidate forums, meet-and-greets, and even casual conversations when I’m doorbelling, I continue to hear how our community is ready to move away from the status quo and find new approaches to: address housing affordability, close gaps in our transportation infrastructure, provide support for small businesses in every neighborhood of District 7, and promote public safety with compassion and clarity. By bringing people together across the region, we can co-design new approaches to make a real difference. That is why I’m honored to announce two new endorsements.
Thank you, Kent Councilmember Brenda Fincher, for your unprompted endorsement of my campaign. I have deeply appreciated our partnership over the years, and look forward to continuing our work together.
I’d also like to thank Fuse Washington and the Progressive Voters Guide for your support and endorsement.
And last but not least, thank you to the Transit Riders Union, for your endorsement and recognition of my policy initiatives to fill the gaps in transportation infrastructure across King County.
