Maya earns an endorsement from the 33rd LD Democrats

I’m running my campaign to bring people together, to bring responsible governance, to bring respect for every resident of District 7, and to build a better future together. I’m proud to announce that the 33rd LD Democrats have contacted me with an unprompted endorsement of my campaign for King County Council. Building relationship across King County is a priority of mine, and their endorsement of my campaign as an Independent Democrat is testimony to the importance of relationship.

When I was elected to Kent School Board, my campaign received bipartsan support from across the region, and across organizations. I firmly believe that it’s our core commitments that bind us together:

• working together to drive sustainable economic growth

• finding new solutions to expand access to education and public safety

• bringing new approaches to big problems, in order to increase affordable housing options

• and to support all the important work, prioritizing efficiency and transparency to use our available resources wisely and competently.
